Serena Daley

Serena is entering her third year at UCLA, where she is studying Psychobiology with a minor in Japanese. She joined UAEM during her first year after seeing firsthand how the high costs of medications and insurance discouraged members of her community from seeking necessary healthcare. As Co-Events Director at UCLA, she has helped organize the most recent UAEM North American Conference, advocated for legislation aimed at expanding access to healthcare, and initiated cross-organizational collaborations across UCLA aimed to spread awareness of current health inequities. 

Outside of UAEM, Serena enjoys pilates and fashion and hopes to become a physician committed to building trusting and meaningful relationships with her patients. She is excited to continue supporting UAEM’s growth, take on larger projects, and further advocate for more equitable access to healthcare.
