Daire Treumann

Daire is a third year medical student at the University of Hamburg with a strong interest in global health policy and social justice. She began her journey in political activism through the climate justice movement and, during her early years in medical school, became increasingly aware of the pressing need for greater health equity, particularly regarding access to medicines. Since 2023, Daire has been an active member of the UAEM Hamburg chapter, focusing  on awareness and education within her university and helping the group regain momentum after the COVID-19 pandemic. As a member of the ECC, she looks forward to supporting chapters in finding their footing and helping the movement grow into an active political player.
