Satjit Jagathjayan

Satjit is entering his third year at the University of Western Ontario with an Honors Specialization in Medical Cell Biology. He joined UAEM two years prior to combat the health inequalities and injustices he saw both within his community as well as outside it. Since then, he has worked with UAEM members to raise thousands for children’s healthcare, hosted informational sessions on contacting Government, became the Vice President of Events at his University, and worked to solidify the methodology for the Global Health University Report Card. 

Outside of advocacy, Satjit loves anatomy, bodybuilding, and aspires to be a family physician. He is excited to continue his work with UAEM and create practical changes that ensure healthcare accessibility.
