Mona Reddy Kurra
Mona Reddy Kurra recently graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in both Neuroscience and Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology and minored in Global Health. She has been an active member in UCLA's chapter of UAEM since 2021, and a student leader since 2022, spearheading state policy advocacy, organizing a joint forum with UAEM Korea, and piloting UCLA's annual Access to Medicines conferences. During her time at UCLA, Mona also worked as an EMT and co-led Community Health Collective, where she partnered with community organizations to create programs that educate families and promote access to health resources. With research experience spanning translational diagnostics for traumatic brain injury to AI-informed housing and health policy, Mona is passionate about bridging the lab, clinic, and community through justice-driven innovation. She aims to continue building systems that prioritize inclusive care, transparency, and equitable access to health.
