Melissa J. Durham, Pharm.D., MACM
Melissa J. Durham is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and the Associate Dean of Organizational Success and well-being University of Southern California (USC) Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, residency in Community Pharmacy Practice, and Master of Academic Medicine degree, all at USC. Dr. Durham is a clinical pharmacist at the USC Pain Center, where since 2008 she has run a pharmacist-led pain medication management service for patients with a variety of complicated chronic pain conditions. She is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with chronic pain through patient-centered and compassionate care. Dr. Durham has also taught topics related to cultural competence/humility and health equity/justice for USC since 2012. She oversees and facilitates all community, belonging, and well-being initiatives within USC Mann, as well as in partnership with other health professions and external partners.
