Aashi Jhawer

Aashi Jhawer (she/her) is a 3rd-year student at UCLA studying Human Biology & Society and Business-Economics. She currently serves as President of UAEM UCLA and National Liaison, where she leads chapter operations and strengthens collaboration between the UCLA chapter and UAEM’s national and international campaigns. Aashi is passionate about driving equitable access to medicines and reshaping global health policy through student-led advocacy. Beyond UAEM, she leads Regulatory and Clinical Strategy at iCardio.ai, a health-tech AI startup advancing cardiovascular diagnostics, and serves as Co-California Executive Director for Voters of Tomorrow, the nation’s largest youth civic engagement organization. In her free time, Aashi enjoys traveling, discovering new food spots with friends and family, singing, and reading.
