Access to Medicines Movement Connector

  • Public Citizen 1600 20th Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20009 United States (map)

Join us for a Happy Hour to connect with UAEM alumni, access to medicines champions, and more!

In a moment where the future of biomedical research as we know it is at risk, and access to lifesaving medicines could not be more important, the access to medicines movement is gathering at Public Citizen to host a happy hour with Universities Allied for Essential Medicines.

Since 2001, UAEM has been at the forefront of the fight for access to lifesaving medicines all over the world, and has been training generations of physician advocates, researchers, and access to medicines activists.

Join UAEM North America for our Access to Medicines Movement connector to draw lines and connections across the movement, mingle, and raise some funds for our continued work!

Featuring alumni voices from the access to medicines movement, student voices from UAEM, and general discussion and refreshments.

Hosted by Public Citizen, Sarah Benjamin, Anastasia Beletsky, Peter Maybarduk, Justin & Izzy Mendoza, and allies from across the access to medicines movement (host committee still in formation).

Come for refreshments, stay for the movement.
