Empowerment Fund
The UAEM Empowerment Fund is a resource provided for chapters by the UAEM Empowerment Committee. This fund allows chapters to apply for and receive funding for chapter-level events and activities. While we encourage chapters to fundraise, the Empowerment Fund can help fill gaps!
To apply for the Empowerment Fund, please follow the steps below. Contact chapters@uaem.org with any questions regarding the Empowerment Fund.
Step 1: Empowerment Fund Application
Your chapter’s application will be processed within two weeks of submission. You will receive an email indicating whether your application has been successful or not — this email guarantees that you will receive the funds.
Reimbursement is provided after the expense is incurred. If your chapter needs funding before the expense is incurred, you can indicate that need in your application. If that request is granted, you are expected to return any unspent funds.
Step 2: Empowerment Fund Reimbursement Form
You will submit the reimbursement form after your event/activity is complete.
Please be sure to save all receipts and documentation.
