Flora Noelle Wiegand

Flora is currently pursuing her MSc in Public Health Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. Flora has been an active member of UAEM Europe since 2017 when joining a local chapter in Münster. Previously, she served as a European Coordinator as well as a representative for Antimicrobial Resistance. With research and working experience from Leibniz Institute for Epidemiology and Prevention Research, Robert-Koch-Institute, and Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine, Flora joined the Board in December 2022 as an interim member. She is passionate about making health technologies accessible and affordable to everyone, as well as enfranchising youth and public research institutions to advocate for a system in which health is a right and not a commodity.

Flora is currently a co-opted board member. She is acting as a replacement for a member who stepped down prior to the end of their term.
